Hiwyet Charity Association Raises Awareness on Consent and Survivor Support for TikTokers

Mek’elē, Tigray, Ethiopia –Today, Hiwyet Charity Association recently conducted an awareness session focused on the importance of obtaining consent from survivors and supporting them, specifically addressing TikTokers and content creators. This initiative aims to educate social media influencers on the ethical and respectful ways to engage with survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) and trauma.

By equipping influencers with the knowledge and tools to handle sensitive topics responsibly, the organization aims to create a safer and more supportive online environment for survivors.
