Hiwyet Charity Association Repeats Successful Discussion with Mekelle City Youth on GBV and Gender Equality

Mek’elē, Tigray, Ethiopia – Following the success of their first event, the Hiwyet Charity Association held a second discussion with Mekelle City youth, including the SNKI LBONA TEAME groups, focused on gender-based violence (GBV), gender equality, and peace building.

During the session, participants engaged in deep, meaningful conversations about the significance of addressing GBV and promoting gender equality. Emphasizing collective efforts, the discussion aimed to create a safe and inclusive environment for all. Hiwyet Charity Association shared invaluable insights and strategies for supporting survivors and fostering a peaceful community.
