Hiwyet Charity Association Conducts Awareness Training on GBV, Peace Building, and Recovery for 20 Schools Representatives
Mek’elē, Tigray, Ethiopia –Today, Hiwyet Charity Association recently held a comprehensive awareness training session on gender-based violence (GBV), peace building, and recovery for representative students and teachers from the gender equality clubs of 20 schools. This significant initiative aims to empower educators and young leaders with the knowledge and tools to combat GBV and promote a culture of peace and equality within their communities.
During the training, participants engaged in interactive discussions and activities that highlighted the importance of addressing GBV, fostering peaceful resolutions, and supporting recovery processes.
